PRN Remote Nurse Analyst

Advance Talent has an opportunity for PRN Nurse Analysts to work from home on a short term project.

We currently have a client seeking experienced nurses and medical personnel. Candidates must have their own computer and access to the internet which meets the company’s system requirements. The ideal person for this position would be a career-minded individual with exceptional time-management skills who currently works less than full-time in his or her regular job. Flexibility during the training period is key to being successful in this role.

The Nurse Analyst will perform medical record review for the company’s clients in areas of litigation and mediation. The Nurse Analyst will use their medical knowledge and expertise to review medical and other plaintiff records to prepare reports, work products, and assessments as established by client and company guidelines.


  • Must have current knowledge of medical record review process and medical terminology
  • Must have a home computer and internet access that meets company system requirements
  • Registered Nurse, RN/JD, Physician Assistant, or MD/DO
  • Active RN license with 5+ years experience in the nursing field; 3+ years medical records review experience in legal or clinical setting a plus
  • Must have ability to work with paperless, electronic documents and guidelines
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
  • Ability to work a minimum of 4 hours per shift
  • Must follow through with scheduling commitments/assignments based on business needs
  • Accept and appreciate constructive feedback in an effort to provide high quality, consistent services to clients

Ideal Candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • LNC certification or course completion
  • General understanding of the litigation and/or mediation process
  • Effective medical record interpretation skills
  • Active license in area of specialty
  • Effective communication skills, to include written, oral and listening
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Ability to work independently and use resources for self-directed learning
  • Ability to think critically and use independent discretion to make good decisions
  • Accurate and skilled with typing and data entry
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications specifically Outlook, MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and navigate between multiple system applications
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with deadlines and ability to meet productivity deadlines
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and varying work product instructions
